Looking Forward to Getting Started

Hey everyone!

The last year and a half was quite a roller coaster of good and bad things, bad on the professional and good on the personal side. I hope you have been well and had many enriching experiences this year and are looking forward to the next year.

This post is about me looking and envisioning how 2019 could go and I am both excited and a little bit worried. In other words: in the the right mindset for planning the near future.

I have been for the most part absent from taking on freelance work, aside from a commission here and there. This will change in 2019, maybe not in a way I expected it to go just a year ago but one must adapt and grow. I will still take on illustration work but this will not be my sole focus anymore. I will see how I can move towards more independence and work hard to get there. For that to happen I will document my ongoing decisions and share them in the biggest capacity I will be able to at the given time, be it in facebook posts, instagram images and stories, through snapchat and eventually also youtube. This part I pretty much avoided... but looking back the most consistent I have been was when I recorded Let's Plays on YouTube... happy years of naive innocence.

There will be no set schedule in the beginning, not until I have established a routine that will work with my shifting college schedule and life happenings, not to speak of deadlines and events.

I look forward to getting out of my comfort zone and am excited in what capacity it will affect my professional and personal life. Anyways, 2019 is building up to be an adventure, feel free to drop by and say hi.

Cheers and Merry Christmas to all of you!
